ApexBrasil and CropLife Brasil Formalize Signing of Project to Export Bioinputs
Renera reinforces the country's leading role in the use of this technology.

CropLife Brasil and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) formalized on Wednesday (1), in Brasilia, the signing of the Renera - Brazilian Bioinputs Innovation Hub project, a strategic initiative created to consolidate Brazil as a global leader in the supply of nature-based agricultural solutions. Focused on the international insertion of Brazilian products, Renera seeks to turn bioinputs into export-ready products.
The signing took place one day after CLB released data on the 2025 bioinputs market, a year in which the area treated with biological products reached 194 million hectares, up 28% from 2024, and achieved a market value above BRL 6.2 billion. The data are available on CropData, the organization's data platform.
For Amalia Borsari, CropLife Brasil's director of bioinputs, the formalization of the Renera - Brazilian Bioinputs Innovation Hub project is a major step for the sector, which has much to contribute to global agriculture through the development of nature-based technological solutions. "We know that Brazilian companies have enormous potential in this area, and we are already a reference in the large-scale use of bioinputs with products that are, in essence, the result of Brazilian technology. It is precisely this innovation base, already validated in the field, that reinforces how much we can contribute to the world," said the CLB representative.
During the ceremony, 38 agreements were signed between ApexBrasil and private-sector companies from different segments. "Today is what we call a major signing ceremony, the signing of several agreements that together total BRL 800 million in investment. With this amount, which we will be working on with you over the next two years, we aim to reach BRL 650 billion in exports for Brazil," said ApexBrasil president Jorge Viana.
The project
The Renera - Brazilian Bioinputs Hub Project is an initiative of ApexBrasil, in partnership with CropLife Brasil, that aims to position the country as a global reference in the production and export of bioinputs. The proposal is to strengthen the international presence of Brazilian companies in the sector, highlighting Brazil's competitive advantages and leadership in sustainable technologies applied to agriculture.
The initiative seeks to promote Brazilian bioinputs in foreign markets, expand companies' presence in new markets, generate business and investment opportunities in the bioeconomy and consolidate the country's image as a hub for nature-based solutions for agriculture.
